                 1.     NOTE and FILE the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) 2006 Annual Progress Report, dated January 31, 2007, relative to the LAX Master Plan CBA, inasmuch as the report is submitted for information only and no Council action is necessary.

 

                 2.     DIRECT the LAWA to report back to the Trade, Commerce and Tourism Committee in 90 days with the number of First Source Hiring jobs available; to outline specific job training centers; and to discuss the outreach program and any other apprenticeship programs.

                 2.     AUTHORIZE the Councilmember of the 13th District to enter into and execute a personal services contract, agreement or other necessary contractual document with Kelli Bernard, for an amount not to exceed $55,000, for the above work to be performed.

                 2.     AUTHORIZE the Councilmember of the 14th District to enter into a contract, agreement or other necessary contractual document with TERA, for an amount not to exceed $5,000, for the above work. The contract, agreement or other necessary contractual document shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Description of the work to be performed, estimated completion date, and an advance payment provision, as appropriate.

 

                 3.     AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works, Office of Accounting, and the Controller to make an advance payment of $5,000 from the Council District 14 portion of the Street Furniture Revenue Fund No. 43D/50 to TERA, as appropriate and upon receipt of an advance payment request invoice, for completion of the Eagle Rock Monument.
